Dr. Schumacher is exactly what I was looking for in a physician to help me with post menopause symptoms. He takes time to listen, provides helpful feedback, and truly cares about his patients. He is the first physician that has helped me solve some real issues. I have tried other physicians in the Reno area, and none come close to Dr. Schumacher. Not only does he provide traditional health care, but alternative care as well. And his office staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you, Dr. Schumacher and staff!
He was the on-call doctor when I delivered my son and was extremely brutal, rude, and cruel. Every interaction with this doctor was unprofessional and unkind- including after the birth when he followed up with me. I would never recommend him if you are pregnant and want a non-abusive birth experience.

He is calm in his approach with well up-to-date education that puts you at ease to make the right decisions for your health! His staff is kind, considerate, and efficient. I nor my family members would go anywhere else!!!!!
Dr. Schumacher was my doctor when we lived in Reno. I chose him due to infertility. He is the best in the field. Having a less than 5% chance of getting pregnant, Dr. Schumacher never gave up on me. I now look at my 3 children and thank him everyday. His kindness, compassion and expertise are immeasurable. Thank you Dr. Schumacher!!
Dr Schumacher was my ob for both of my pregnancies, although was unable to deliver due to not being on call. He found a very rare cancer in me last year, and he went so far above and beyond what I would ever expect a doctor to do. I felt that he was treating me as if I was his family member. When in the hospital for two weeks, he came and checked on me every single day whether working or not. I 100% recommend him.
He was my physician for more than a decade and I found him to be extraordinarily conscientious. He's serious when needed, friendly and more knowledgeable than most. He makes a point of staying up to date with new research and procedures. I never found him to overly dramatic about a diagnosis or schedule a procedure without reason.
I saw Mary, Dr. Schumacher's wife, more than I ever saw him, but I loved seeing her. She's into health and she found out I am anemic. I just recently found out I' pregnant and called them, and discovered they no longer take pregnancies over 14 weeks, so I am being forced to find a new doctor. Dr. Schumacher was not there when I delivered my first child, I am not sure who delivered my first child. So that was also a bummer.
