I was skeptical when my daughter and son-in-law said they were going to have their home built by Schumacher Homes but I have to say that I have been impressed with the process from start to finish! The Belmont office was very helpful and the site manager, Tom Morrison, was incredible to work with. All of the contractors were very professional, courteous, and did a great job. I would highly recommend contracting your home with the Schumacher Homes Belmont office!
We are very pleased with Shumaker Homes of Belmont! The process was easy and our builder, Tom, was the absolute best! We would tell him what we wanted and he knew exactly what to do! The staff from beginning to end was friendly, helpful and willing to help with anything. We love our new home! Thank you to Tom and Schumaker Homes!
Schumacher homes was great to deal with. They had our home up in under 90 days ready to move in. Any issues we had with the contractors they were more than helpful in getting the issues resolved. The painters did an exceptional job with painting and priming from the house to the post on the front porch. Overall if we had to do it again we would go with Schumacher homes.

I had a horrible experience with the manager at this location after I took issue with them adding $5k in forgotten expenses literally minutes before I signed at the pre-construction meeting. He is not concerned with customer service. After six months of going through the process, our appraisal came back $70k lower than needed. We have since gone to their competitor just down the street whose promotion has been much better, (buy-down rate and money off), and are getting more square footage for less money than we were going to... read more
