As a fourth generation physician, I am fortunate to have many wonderful role models within my family. Our goal is to pursue care that puts the best interests of the patient before all other concerns. In my practice, I like to think that I don't treat eyes, I treat people, which is another way of saying that for every eye I treat, our plan of care is customized to the individual.

Dr Richard Schulze and his staff exemplifies what a caring and professional medical office should be. I have undergone cataract surgery by Dr Schulze on both eyes and could not be happier with the surgery, staff and outcome of the surgery. He is a very talented surgeon and both him and his staff provided preoperative instructions and answered all my questions which in turn decreased my anxiety regarding my procedure. Schulze Eye & Surgery Center is an excellent care provider for the community. Dr. Schulze is very knowledgeable, an excellent communicator who thoroughly shows and explains conditions and outcomes, together with being a top level surgeon. His office and surgical staff are both friendly and professional. For each of my eyes , he carefully removed cataracts and implanted multi focal lens. My vision has been restored and I am so very thankful to Dr. Schulze and his staff.
