We recently worked with Todd and his team on a remodel of our kitchen, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our kitchen was old and decrepit, with banged-up floors and outdated cabinets. The layout was also problematic, with the dishwasher positioned in a way that made it impossible to open without closing a drawer. We initially hired Schulte to remodel our basement but we ended up having them remodel our entire house, and are so glad we did. Dan did an excellent job coming up with clever solutions to fit all we wanted in a small footprint—like having the stairwell cut into the bottom of a bathroom vanity that would be covered with cabinet doors so you’d never know. When we kicked off this project, we figured it'd be nice to have an additional space that maybe we could Airbnb one day, but as we've come to the finished product and it's so beautiful, I think our primary use for this studio is going to be for family and friends to stay over and having an extra space to place to work since we both work from home. If you are looking for a design build contractor to improve your home, I highly recommend Schulte. Schulte did a complete re-design of our kitchen, bathroom and living space in our 1911 build Phinney Ridge home. We had a very strange layout in our kitchen and Schulte transformed it into a beautiful and functional space.
