Not a good experience. We brought our (perfectly healthy up to this point) golden doodle in on Sat 7/2/2016 because he was lethargic, refusing food, refusing to go outside. Our normal vet was closed. A Dr. Boyle performed an xray and explained that he could draw blood but certainly didn't see anything worth worrying about. We agreed with him and didn't draw blood. We were charged ~400 dollars. the vets have always help us with our dogs. One of our dogs has eye issues and this is the only eye doctor around for dogs. Pretty pricey

I have had at least 30 or so pets, and in the last 25 years have used Mission Med Vet for 2 emergency surgeries and one bad skin condition. All were treated successfully. That has not been the case with another emergency vet nearby. So let's get real. VCA (vetinarary centers of America), the parent company of Mission Med Vet, earnings rose more than 33%, their sales increased 13% to $563.4 million and their operating earnings rose from 2.78 to 2.97.
