We visited Schroon lake Mid January 2025. This was the first time I saw entire lake frozen!! The temperature was around -7C.. and on average the temperature was dropping to -14/-15C. There was plenty of parking available. We saw people camping around. We also witnessed folks doing Ice-Fishing. It was fun to walk on frozen lake.
