If I could give 0 stars I would. I went with them because they are a family run business and I thought they would be honorable. They delivered 4 pallets of sod and 75% of it was dead (see pictures). They asked ME to "count" the square footage. I told them I am not expert, and my numbers were just me counting with my footsteps. I paid $2,000 for sod and delivery and they will refund me $302 because it was my 'word'. I told them multiple times I didn't feel comfortable measuring and I was probably way off. Chad drove my sod out on a pick up truck. Had a whole skid unloaded by hand in 5 minutes. Great company. Great employees.
I recently bought 5 rolls of Fescue sod ( 50 sq ft )for my front yard from them. Called them a day in advance to place the order and set a time to pickup. The sod was fresh and they also helped to load it in my trunk. Great experience overall. Big box stores charge you more than double for the same sod roll. I will definitely buy more from Schroeder farm in future.
