Charlie is the best! Brought our boat to him for some repairs and not only was the price very reasonable, he got us in and out the same day! Went home, ran the boat and had some more unforseen issues. The first time we had trouble Charlie took the time out of his day to help trouble shoot our issues...we ran it again and the same issue occurred, again Charlie responded with patience and expertise !! Amazing guy! I will not be taking my boat to any other mechanic. I thought I had to get my lower unit resealed but in reality I didn’t, it was just leaking unburnt 2 stroke oil as old 2 stroke outboards do. He took the time out of his busy work schedule to assist me and show me exactly why it wasn’t by doing a pressure test on the lower unit instead of just saying “yeah that’s not good you definitely need to do that” to collect a check. I really appreciate his honesty!!!
I had both my lower units full of water on some twin 150’s. Dropped them off and got them back resealed same day! Fair guy all around, recommend him to anyone I know with a boat.
Charlie is a fantastic guy. He sold me a trim unit for my mercury that he believed was bolt in and ready to go. I ended up having issues with the unit bleeding down and not holding the motor up. He troubleshooted with me over the phone to try and get it resolved which I really appreciated. We were unable to solve the issue over the phone unfortunately, but to make it right be gave me another unit at no additional cost which is A+ customer service. We had an issue and he made sure it was resolved, which is all I can ask for.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Charlie is hands down one of the best boat mechanics I’ve ever worked with. He worked on my year 2000 225hp Johnson and absolutely brought it back to life. He knew exactly what he was doing—got brand new controls installed, swapped out the spark plugs, and had that old 2-stroke starting up on the first turn. Super knowledgeable, professional, and just genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. If you’ve got an outboard that needs work, Charlie is your guy!
