Our village contracted Schroeder to resurface the streets in our neighborhood. What really set them apart was their willingness to go above and beyond by rearranging their schedule to work on my street before our daughter's wedding. That level of customer service meant so much to our family and took one less thing off our minds during a very busy time. Specifically Austin V. He is the one that made it happen.

Another amateur that should not be driving : Loose Debris and Gravel: The deck of the trailer is covered in loose dirt, rocks, and debris. 625 ILCS 5/15-109(a) explicitly states that no vehicle may be driven on a highway unless it is loaded to prevent any of its load from dropping, shifting, leaking, or otherwise escaping. Furthermore, section 15-109.1 requires residual material or aggregate to be completely cleared or contained so it does not sift, blow, or drop onto the road.

Schroeder was doing a job on Sleepy Hollow Road near my home and put down fresh oil overnight in weather in-conducive for the application and did not close off the road to traffic. As a result my car and many others were severely affected (see photos). I stopped at the site on my way back from work and talk about o the supervisor on the job and he admitted it was the worst he’s ever seen and he’s been doing it for 20 plus years. he gave me the number for the company and assured me they would take care of it.
