Fantastic liverwurst sandwich!! No seating, all take out.
This place has hit the skids! It has been sold, new owner and his friends who work there are clueless! Unless you get one of the people that worked there before the sale, hard pass! Such a shame, was an amazing old school deli, new case changed salads no go!
Please please please go back to making the macaroni potato and cucumber salads the OLD WAY! Whoever has been making them is not doing it right. We regularly buy them for years… but this year something has been really off. They have been tasting bad. Sour even. Missing ingredients? Whatever or whoever … just go back to the old way please!!!
We’ve been coming to Schreiber’s Delicatessen in Oradell for many years, and it’s a tradition to pick up their potato salad for our Fourth of July celebrations. I can’t visit my sister’s beach house in Ocean Grove without bringing two pounds of their potato salad, and their macaroni salad and sandwiches are outstanding too. Great food, great people, and great service, Schreiber’s never disappoints!
