In December 2023 the "service engine soon" light came on in my Jayco motorhome (Chevy chassis) when returning from a long trip. The engine is the 8.1 L with 112,000 miles on it. I had a hard time finding a mechanic to look at it. Finally one did and he tried all the electrical fixes with no luck. Next, I took it to the local Chevy dealer several times.
