Love their Burgers! We've been to this restaurant on two different occasions. I definitely think they are better for lunch than dinner, as the menus are virtually the same, but cheaper prices and less crowds at lunch! I have an avocado burger (can't remember the exact name) and it was really delicious. I'd try it out if I were you!
Dreadful, locals-only dive – On Sunday, 1/18/09, at around 2 pm, my wife and I were taking a walk around "downtown" Cayucos. We figured we missed the lunchtime rush so we'd have our pick of any restaurant. Schooners, with it's rooftop dining and bar looked inviting.
