Excellent sail. The windjammer has been beautifully maintained and the cushioned seating pit is why I picked this experience over others. We were sailing at points with a 20-25 degree tilt, which would not be for everyone, but I loved it. Captain Devon + Alden sailed with ease and were fun to talk to. I recommend grabbing a charcuterie plate from Camden Charcuterie (they have a Boat box!) some drinks, bring a blanket and go for sunset. This was me and my husband’s favorite experience of our weekend trip in Camden.
They take you out and turn off the engine and let the wind take them as far as it does before time requires that you turn around and sail back into the harbor. They offer the chance to help lift the sails or take the helm. Guests did both on our sail. The captain was very personable and made a point to chat with everyone on the boat while offering commentary on what they could see (islands, wildlife, and the like) as well as answering any question.
Highly recommend sailing with captain Aaron! Very personable, professional, and just a great day on the owl.. we will definitely sail again with him in the future! Thank you for a wonderful wedding ceremony and cruise.. we couldn't have wished for a better day.. we will be back ☺️
