They take you out and turn off the engine and let the wind take them as far as it does before time requires that you turn around and sail back into the harbor. They offer the chance to help lift the sails or take the helm. Guests did both on our sail. The captain was very personable and made a point to chat with everyone on the boat while offering commentary on what they could see (islands, wildlife, and the like) as well as answering any question.
Highly recommend sailing with captain Aaron! Very personable, professional, and just a great day on the owl.. we will definitely sail again with him in the future! Thank you for a wonderful wedding ceremony and cruise.. we couldn't have wished for a better day.. we will be back ☺️
We had a very nice sail on the Olad. Beautiful weather and friendly staff made it a perfect. Afternoon!
We chartered the schooner to get married. Not terribly expensive, relatively speaking. The staff and crew were great, they were easy to work with and made sure we had the day we wanted. Would highly recommend.
