Amazing group and exceptional commitment to exceeding expectations !! My grandchildren attended a group camp and I stopped by and observed the classes and lunch session...very very well done I’ll recommend the spirit, attitude and results to anyone I see that’s interested in Learning the “art” of surfing !!
Best experience, ever! My 6-year-old never swam in the ocean (only pools), let alone surfed, before mini-grom camp. She was up on day one, and, by the end of the week, she was begging to ride only the biggest waves. After camp, we took two lessons together that even had me surfing! Everyone at School of Surf is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, and they are just the greatest people to be around--Todd, Calvin, Lauren, Hunter, and absolutely everyone!!! We were totally blown away!
What a wonderful, family owned business! My husband wanted to get our girls on a board for his Father's Day present! ;0) We called School of Surf the day before our planned visit, and Lauren was able to squeeze them in for a semi-private lesson! She was helpful in answering our questions about location and beach access. Todd did a great job with the girls for their safety lesson. And Grady was wonderful with the girls on the water! Todd was fantastic. He made sure we had a great time. I loved every minute of our lesson. You won't regret coming here and taking lessons from him or Lauren. They were wonderful.
My husband and I had a great experience learning to surf today! Lauren gave a great indoor lesson on safety and technique, and Calvin was an excellent coach in the water. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!
Superb! Finally I know how to surf, that’s my 2018 New Year resolution. Todd gave us really good and detailed safety instructions. Good to know that area is quite safe for surfing. Didn’t get all his jokes, but enough to know he’s a funny one. Got one to one lesson with Calvin who was so encouraging all the time! Also very helpful and professional showing me which part I did wrong and the right way to stand on the board. Lauren was so patient with me over the phone. I think Lauren is her name.
