I have a left above the knee amputation so I'm in a wheelchair. I spent two days searching for an office that not only had an emergency appointment available and took my insurance. I made over 50 calls in those two days time. On the second day around 11am I called Dr. Schonbrun's office and they got me in around 4pm. I had a very good experience as a new patient at Schonbrun Dental Care, PC in Virginia Beach, VA. The waiting room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The office staff were polite and efficient. They swiftly provided me with new patient forms to fill out and took my insurance card. I have had the good fortune to know Dr Schonbrun since 2004. While always proud of my smile, I did not inherit good teeth genes, and we went through many of the tougher procedures together. I am anxious on a good day and the team always handled me with patience, gentleness, and great care. Due to insurance and a lot of life issues, I hadn’t seen Dr Schonbrun in many years.
