We were rear-ended by an uninsured driver who gave us her info, admitted fault, and promised to cover all the damage. We took the car in, and though they share a lot with the Schomp dealership, they had the gall to tell us that they're *not* a dealership and "could not" give us a loaner, forcing us to rent a car for the next three weeks, during which we got a steady drip of new, apparently necessary repairs that I guess couldn't have been predicted after the first estimate was compiled. I had an appointment at another body shop, but I did not know that body shop did not accept the insurance company that was paying for the damages. I called around to find a body shop that would accept it. I reached out to Schomp, and they do work with this particular insurance company. I was able to drop off the vehicle that day, and they were kind enough to talk to me and answer all my questions. A week goes by, and they worked fairly quickly to inspect my vehicle. I had a bent tire rod that turned into a nightmare progressive claim and it was a total mess at a previous shop and am so grateful that I found Subaru Collision. They kept me up to date with everything - Jordan, Andrew and Brian were all incredible helpful to work with… I wouldn’t trust any other shop from here on out. Thank you for taking care of my Outback wilderness and I’ll be utilizing you’re team for the forseeable future (hopefully not often but I’m grateful to finally have a go-to shop).
Do not bring your vehicle to Schomp Mazda for repair! I was told 8 days for repair today is day 44. Their web page goes into endless platitudes about being customer service focused and I have never received worst service. They talked about having a dedicated Insurance Center and they don't. It's a flat out lie. Nobody that has any clue about insurance has ever communicated to me nor my insurance carrier, I am licensed currently and work in insurance.
