Moved my mother from Masonic Pathways to Schnepp. The staff Schnepp has employed are compassionate and knowledgeable. Best decision we have ever made.
The worst place to be at. I cried every night. All the nurses are rude, I would never recommend this place. They need shut down and licence revoked. Your stuck on a bed pan for "normally" a hour. They don't answer your call light for a hour. It's not that their busy at the time, they don't like me. I can't wait to get out of here.
To start with I will say the therapy department is amazing!!!! As far as the rest of the staff... they have no business working in the medical field!!! The "care" my mother received while here was absolutely atrocious, and I use the word care loosely....because there is very few individuals there that have any care, to give to the patients. One of the aides, Joslyn, actually lectured & degraded my mother because my mom needed help to get up so she could use the restroom....and had my mom just soiled herself due to not receiv... read more
This place is amongst the worst care facilities I've ever seen. No commutation about necessary medical testing. Understaffed to dangerous levels. Doctors that round there care so little it's tragic. Recently there was a fire alarm pulled and the fire department had to respond because no one could answer the phone to verify if there was an actual fire. If you value your loved ones, anywhere but here
Regarding my OWN personal experience, there were many areas that I found unacceptable. Yes, many of the staff were kind/caring. Others had the personality of a wet stone. Physical/Occupational therapists were great. House doctor (Anderson) not available or did not return his page. You call that a doctor? Came to see me only ONCE during my 3 week stay. Changed medications without my knowledge. Went against the orders of my kidney doctor (I have stage 4 kidney failure and am on dialysis 3 days a week. I have a port that is NOT... read more
