This business is a gem of an operation. Paul Evans the owner, is a master craftsman and a complete perfectionist. The tolerances he works with are down to 1/64th of an inch ! That is real precision. Nothing leaves the shop of Schneple Woodworking unless it is absolutely of the highest quality, no matter how simple a piece it may be. Some years ago Paul expertly reproduced a pair of interior window shutters for me that exactly matched in construction and style the early-19th-century originals in an adjoining room. Daisy then installed them, skillfully cutting them to fit windows that were off square. She also adjusted several original shutters to allow them to close properly.
