I bought a recliner at the Roseville store less than 3 yrs ago and the spring broke leaving us unable to lower the footrest. I called customer service and she didn't seem to know about the manufacturer's warranty. I really just needed a spring. She said that she would need to send out a technician to "diagnose" the problem for $55 and then he would need to see if the parts were covered under warranty. I purchased an awfully expensive mattress that sold in the thousands of dollars and has a 20-year warranty. The mattress sags in the middle after 7 years. The manufacturer will not do anything. Schneiderman’s is not willing to do anything for me. They will not pressure the manufacturer or give me a discount toward another mattress. They do not stand behind what they sell.

We bought our couch a few years ago and purchased their "insurance" plan. We got talked into it, we were told it covered basically everything that could go wrong with the couch. Surprise, surprise, it covers basically nothing and they don't disclose that you have to report anything within days of it happening or they will deny it. SUPER DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE. Do not buy the insurance, better yet, don't shop here. I will not be buying furniture from this deceptive and greedy store anymore. Absolutely disgusting business... read more
