Don’t go here for autism diagnosis especially in girls! It’s a waste of time and money. You will be told you are the problem and your kid has a “behavioral problem.”
Listen I'm only on a waiting list for this place for my twins but, I will say that they sent me a letter informing me of resources that I qualified for that. I really had no clue thinking I could get without their official diagnosis from them and it's only because of them that that I was able to tap into these resources a lot earlier than I would have otherwise known, and I'm super appreciative of that as a parent... Like it honestly has been life-changing for us in so many ways.
Don’t recommend to anyone going with this providers (UAMS) Schmieding) for your kids diagnosis. They completely disregarded my son’s medical/personal history and records and made a mess of his paperwork, now the process to get this fixed is taking longer than I expected. That’s if they even fix his history. Like It’s up to them to decide if this gets fixed. It’s his life’s history. Don’t waste your time, take your kids somewhere better.
I am a 16 year old who needs to be tested for, most likely, a multitude of things. I was declined even being SEEN by them due to the fact that what my PCP had told them in the referral sounding more like "mental health" issues. I admit I do have issues with depression and anxiety, but I have been in therapy for six years and nothing has helped.
