Appearance I have taken my dogs to get both groomed and boarded at Schmidt Veterinary Clinic. The appearance of the facility is always excellent.

HORRIBLE VET!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL DO NOT USE SCHMIDT! My family had gone to Dr. Schmidt with our animals over the years and had received progressively worse service every time! The final insult was when our dog had started vomiting at least once and hour and was not able to keep food down (what little he attempted to eat). We took him to Dr. Schmidt and he claims that they did an x-ray to check for blockages and found none. Awful Experience Upon moving to the area, I chose Schmidt to take my rescued Siamese cat to for immediate medical attention. They decided to keep him overnight and run tests- they did not keep me posted on what was going on with my cat, when I would call they were annoyed I was checking in on him and didn't provide me any information. I stopped in after work the next day to get a progress update and they had sedated him but still didn't know what was wrong with him. Great Vet - Dr. Schmidt I just moved to the area and was in search of a vet. Dr. Schmidt was so helpful and kind. The staff were very friendly and I even got a tour of the clinic. Thank you Dr. Schmidt for taking such great care of my cat and for all of your helpful knowledge. I would recomend Dr. Schmidt to anyone.

We wouldn't go anywhere else... We have been taking our pets to Dr. Schmidt for more than 20 years; through all that time we have never received anything but the finest care for our various dogs and cats. He and his friendly, compassionate staff have provided regular check-ups, cared for them when they got sick, boarded them when we couldn't take them with us on trips, and always treated them with comfort and kindness. TERRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD CARE!!! My family used to swear by Dr. Schmidt, never again. Did not get good sympathetic care when our puppy was sick - kept getting the runaround and ended up finding out he had parvo and we had no clue what parvo even was until it was almost too late. They told us it was hopeless and we should "bring him back and get our money back"... needless to say we took him elsewhere and he is still with us today.

I've always trusted these people I've taken both of my cats here for 6 years now. I have always trusted them and feel like they want the best for my pets. Dr. Schmit is a true animal lover and I'm sure he has seen it all. They have had the opportunity to medicate my pet (I would have done anything to help her) but they were honest and said that the medication would not really help her.
