When a doctor is arrogant and condescending that speaks volumes. I don't recommend him.
I had a flap surgery done on my nose about three years ago by Dr Schmidt. I've just completed my 4th laser resurfacing which was done by my dermatologist. I can now feel like I'm not going around with a crooked puzzle piece on the end of my nose which also left one side looking like a parrot nose. I expected more from my plastic surgeon. At least could have offered options for helping with scars. I found my options on my own
I had an abdominoplasty with liposuction. I had three pregnancies, one being twins. I was never satisfied how my abdomen looked even 30 years after I had my twins. I consulted with Dr. Schmidt and he was open an honest about what he could do. My results were amazing. My before pictures looked like I was a fat female with the extra skin pouch. Dr. Schmidt was very professional. He answered all of my questions and has a professional staff. I felt I was in good hands. He is a talented surgeon I would not consider going to anyone else. The friends and family members who have gone to Dr. Schmidt have all had great results and are very happy with their outcomes.
Excellent, far exceeded my hopes in reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer.
Had the nerve to ask in the recovery room if i provided the paperwork for insurance to cover the procedure, otherwise “it would be fraud." My eyes were not symmetrical several months post-op. His nurses noticed, but he refused to acknowledge. When pressed, he got rude and started coming up with several excuses as to why he couldn't achieve symmetry-things never mentioned prior. Said I was expecting too much as insurance was covering it, & if I had paid more $ I would get better results.
My liposuction procedure was a disaster! I was not informed during my consultation that the quality of care ended for his patients after their procedure. PLEASE do your research & ask questions!! Dr. Schmidt quality of work does not match his experience & prices (paid almost $4200). After talking to other patients of his who had less than desirable results,I was told there Google rating of him was deleted. Be leery of doctors who don't want their patients experiences made public. DON'T USE HIM
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Schmidt. My liposuction procedure was a disaster! After being under anesthesia for 1 hour 40 minutes he only removed 15cc of fat (he told me during the consultation he would remove about 35cc). This doctor also had poor patient service he was cold and rude during my recovery follow-up appointment and could care less that it did not look like he had removed any fat. Only allow him to perform a cosmetic procedure on you if you're fine having uneven body parts.
