I would suggest using Christine Schmidt if you are comfortable only communicating via email, have an outstanding understanding of the law, and are at ease with things going her way. Otherwise be prepared for extreme delayed responses by email only, rude, curt and condescending tone...especially if you need to ask a question. And if you don't know the law, and really require her expertise rather than her taking control of the situation, expect for her to drop your case with a nice friendly "good luck" email. I would advise anyone with a need for a family law attorney to select Christine. Christine served as my attorney in a very difficult situation. She kept me informed of the process and sought all of the critical information from me. I used Christine Schmidt for a very complex family issue and she was able to work with my entire family to make the process painless. Christine Schmidt helped me to work through a divorce that did not become traumatic. I was left well provided for through the remainder of my life, and Christine and I were able to achieve this without a contentious battle. As a result, my x-husband and I are still a family of sorts for our children who came through the divorce process healthy and happy.
