I discovered Schmidt Auto Care on the Centerville Facebook page and I’m so glad I did! They were professional, kind and efficient. I also liked the fact that it is a veteran-owned business, as my husband and I are both veteran’s The work on my car required a couple of steps and before each step, they contacted me to explain why they needed to do further testing and to make sure I was comfortable with proceeding, since it would require paying a little more money. Schmidt was very professional yet personable. It felt more like visiting a family shop than entering a big dealership service garage that can sometimes feel intimidating. We had our KIA Sorento (2016) worked on. We were able to schedule, get service, and have our car returned to us all in a timely matter. There was a lot of good communication as to what was found, needed vs could what could wait, cost of repairs, and updates on the progress. The car is running great once again. Thanks, Schmidt!

Started with a Check Engine Light and needing to find an honest and trustworthy local mechanic. My wife had heard good things about Schmidt so we took our vehicle in for a diagnostic. They performed a very detailed inspection and provided a clear report of what was wrong, prioritizing the urgency of each repair. They were extremely helpful and allowed us to repair what was most important and create an expectation of what the vehicle needed in the future.
