went to Schmear Bagel Co. crisp on the outside pillowy and great taste on inside, they also now carry a full line of smoked fish..belly lox and nova sliced fresh to order, sable and others, friendly service too...a real NYC bagel place
I’ve been coming to this breakfast place for a while and have always enjoyed stopping by for coffee since I work at the plaza. I don’t mind paying for my coffee at all, and I’ve never had an issue with that. Today, however, a new employee named Julian loudly questioned me in front of everyone, asking if I actually pay for my coffee even though he sees me there every day and knows I’m not charged for it. My son and I have breakfast together every Monday. We started at Julian's and came over to Schmear when they became a part of this restaurant. It's a different experience but the food is good and then there's Nilsa. She has made it an easy transition. She is an amazing server but more important, an amazing person. She makes you feel welcome. She remembers you and not just what you like to order but your name, your family, what's going on in your life.
