My building has continuing issues with our Schindler elevator. it was just repaired late last week (at great cost to the building) and is already out of service today (Tuesday). We have also had to wait weeks for parts to come in for it to be repaired. Late last year, we waited for over a month to have an operational elevator. Not good, Schindler.

Mercer Square Condominiums has had an ongoing and extremely frustrating experience with Schindler Elevator Corporation. Despite being under contract and consistently paying for service, the reliability of our elevator has been unacceptable. For several months, we have experienced repeated outages with little to no long-term resolution. On 03/04/2026 at approximately 6:45 AM, I was entering the I-20 on-ramp in Forney, Texas, when a Schindler Elevator service van (#22480) pulled up behind me and immediately began blowing its horn repeatedly. There was no apparent reason for this, so I assumed it was simply morning traffic frustration and continued merging safely into traffic. One of their drivers cut me off then followed me through traffic to take pictures of me and my car. Maybe don't have road rage when in a marked company vehicle? Called to report and heard nothing back.
