I live in a building that has a Schindler elevator its only about two years old. The person who installed it was milking the job never put in a full week. It was summer in the outerbanks of NC .He came with his girlfriend, nasty dog and two Harleys He worked 3-4 days a week. He had a unit in the same building. There have been many problems last of which the elevator got stuck with me and my dog in it. They had been here less than a week before to fix the same problem. Schindler is the worst .
One of the absolute worst companies I've ever had to deal with professionally. I can call them in the morning and will not see them until late at night and then have to pay overtime for my service call. This is been going on much longer than before covid. I had a technician tell me my company was "being cheap" after we spent $45,000 on repairs for an elevator that still had issues and was constantly stopping.anytime I call them for a service call, I have to call them every hour to make sure my service call is still on target... read more
