Had to have a 3rd spinal surgery with a Doctor in Henry Ford due to the factor he couldn't find an explanation of why I was still having pain after a yr of going through a lot of medical with him. He didn't notice the 1 bar came loose and crushed the bone in my spine. The new Doctor said that Dr. Schinco did not put the cage in correctly and I had to have another to fix it and have cadaver bone put in as well. The new Doctor also said he should have fixed my whole spine and didn't understand why Schinco missed it.
He performed a spinal fusion on me in 2012, and he did a great job!
Not only did I work for Dr. Schinco but he also did my husbands spinal fusion with excellent results. He is also now treating me as well. His bedside manner is amazing and I would not recommend anyone else.
I have known Dr. Schinco since 2009, when he did my decompression and laminectomy for Chiari Malformation. He is one of the most knowledgeable, caring and empathetic physicians I have ever met. He is so welcoming to my husband whenever he comes with me to appointments. He explains everything thoroughly. He does not force anything on you, letting you make up your mind about the treatment recommended. Phenomenal surgeon!
Dr. Schinco is the best in his specialty. I've worked with a few of the neurosurgeons in this area and chose him for my husband's back surgery. First surgery helped, second surgery was the magic ticket. My husband is back to full strength and working after being off for over 2 years with debilitating pain. Highly recommend Dr. Schinco. He teaches lifestyle modifications that are pertinent to rehabilitation.
