I left a review for Dr. Schiller years ago, and it was deleted, probably because I did it under an anonymous name. I am feeling brave enough to leave a review with my name now. He is not an ideal patient to see if you are LGBTQ. I am trans and I was not seeing him for anything related to that, but he would occasionally ask me "and how is the sexual aspect doing today?" in reference to my transness, which I felt was strange. I have known Dr. Lanning Schiller for 30 years. He is exceptionally kind, compassionate, and helpful. He has guided me through very significant difficult times. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Schiller helped my family through tumultuous times. His expertise with teenagers amazes me. He worked with my child, my husband and me to optimize our family dynamic while supporting our child’s unique needs. Do not use this therapist for the health and wellbeing of your child, your family or yourself. Lanning Schiller is an ethically negligent and grossly incompetent health care provider. As a psychologist, he lacks the most basic professional knowledge about psychological theory and practice.
