If you speak English as a second language, I would not recommend hiring this law firm. My mom used this law firm for her divorce. Despite the fact that they frequently couldn't comprehend a word she said, they kept meeting with her and running up the bill. I didn't participate in every conversation, but I did in several of them. She was not prepared for trial, they did not provide an interpreter, and when I suggested mediation, they rejected the idea. Awful, awful. Spent the 6 month retainer in 2 months and didn't show a bill until 3 months after they had spent $70,000. Kept promising a financial outcome to level the costs but never built the case then withdrew after 6 figures of unpaid billing. Then they sued us for two years after leaving mid-divorce. Bills for for consulting with all their colleagues, upcharging court services, "research", and motions they would file then withdraw without explanation. Run!
These people are financial predators. They didn’t negotiate in mediation. They dragged the process out. Stay away.
Dishonest attorneys who will drag your case out in an effort to steal as much money from you as possible. Charles Fleck and Joshua Jackson are criminals with a license to steal. Avoid this firm at all costs.

Schiller Ducanto and Fleck is easily the most despicable law firm I have ever encountered. Of course they would want to drag cases out as long as possible to maximize their billable hours, but they do this so shamelessly it is amazing they haven't been disbarred. Attorneys like these are the reason why people hate attorneys!! Not one ounce of ethics or conscience in this law firm as far as I can tell.
