I made an appointment to go to the shop to have two recalls completed. They called me after that and said that they could come to me for that appointment. The appointment day comes and the tech that came to my house said that they can actually only do one here the other needs to go to the shop. I scheduled mobile service to have a recall software update performed on my Mustang. I later canceled the appointment due to delayed travel plans, but the technician still showed up that day. Since he was already there, I went ahead with the service and appreciated the prompt arrival. The update itself took about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I was left with a dead battery despite the service receipt stating that the battery was checked, and I had to miss work to get the car jumped. Dave Chandler in thy Service Dept plus the check in guy all were super nice to address my car problem. Now waiting to hear back of the problem, and when will it be back on the road. I have full trust in Dave and his team.
2 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation is ridiculous. That is also with an appointment, not a walk-in. The whole point of taking your vehicle to do routine services is for convenience, and this essentially erases that convenience.
The service writers and service managers and part guys rock here!
