I've had this recliner for 5 years. Supposed to have a lifetime warranty. 3 weeks ago the frame broke. I called the store and was told I had to call lay z boy. Emailed lazy z boy, they said schewels is independent and has to handle the warrenty in store. Went in the store and talked to the office staff. I was told I had to contact lay z boy. Told her I had and was told store had to do the work. Manager was walking by and told me there was no warrenty she was aware of. Then she told me she would contact the lay z boy rep.
