There emergency department is the worst emergency department I’ve ever been seen in. I am using a fake account to make this review since I am a local resident. If I could give this Hospital a zero I would. The care my family member has received over the last two months from the Scheurer Physicians is absolutely sickening. This place is horrible. We have been dismissed by Dr McManaman, Marcy Rivert, Scott Reiter, Kim the social worker, occupational and physical therapist, Nurses and any employee we have interaction with. The hospital staff has always been good to us. They are kind, thoughtful and caring. The acute care staff are the best!
My son was in a terrible accident and was taken to Scheurer by ambulance. Due to the nature of his injuries I was very concerned a small hospital could help him. They immediately took him back and started doing scans to see what they were dealing with. They recognized that he needed transferred to a trauma center. They arranged the transport and got him there quickly. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and speed in which they attended to him.
