The hospital staff has always been good to us. They are kind, thoughtful and caring. The acute care staff are the best!
My son was in a terrible accident and was taken to Scheurer by ambulance. Due to the nature of his injuries I was very concerned a small hospital could help him. They immediately took him back and started doing scans to see what they were dealing with. They recognized that he needed transferred to a trauma center. I went in for a tetanus shot after a staple punctured my skin. They called me a week later to see how I was doing. I haven't received many follow-up calls from a hospital in the past - I appreciated the extra effort.
