We worked with Scherr to reconfigure our existing kitchen and install new hardwood flooring on the first floor of our house. Jed, Sean, and their whole team were incredible. They came out to see the project and provide an estimate within a week, thoroughly communicated the project timeline well in advance, and I got daily updates on the work that was being done from Jed. I have used this firm once before for basement insulation and was impressed with work quality and communication. This job was to correct a sagging corner on a deck and warped deck rails on the composite railings. They installed additional fasteners on the rails, corrected a sagging rim joist, and reinstalled decking----one day of work and the deck looks amazing and is sturdy (and level!). The team at Scherr did a great job for us. They listened attentively to our concerns, answered all of our questions, and helped us address several general maintenance issues. We have an older home with some difficult/unusual complications and they worked with us to find solutions that addressed our issues while maintaining the integrity of original construction. I would not hesitate to recommend them and hope to use them again in the future.
Scherr Handyman Services completed 4 projects for us last week. We had a door repair, a wall and ceiling repair, a windowsill and blind replacement, and a solar lamppost installed. All of the work was expertly completed. From our initial contact to the end of the job, the interaction with Scherr was outstanding.
Scherr is a first class company. They and their subcontractors did a fabulous job on our extensive kitchen remodel. Scherr is very organized and were very attentive to keeping us informed about progress and what was coming next. Chris, our Project Manager, was onsite several times a day insuring that the work was progressing and checking that we were pleased with each phase of the job.
