We had a pipe burst in the basement over the Christmas cold snap causing a minor flood that pretty much destroyed the bottom half of all the walls, the floors and the ceilings where the water came through. Mitigation company pretty much gutted the basement down to the studs and foundation. (before pics attached) In comes Scherr for the rebuild! Scherr ordered and installed a new custom back door with frame on our house. It looks great and will help us retain heat and A/C in and keep storm water out. Based on what other contractors had told us, we did doubted this was possible due to the nonstandard size and ground level placement of the doorway.

Scherr created a custom built-in shelving with sliding door closet system for us and we could not be happier with the work and the experience. Their guys are super talented at what they do -- carpentry, painting, tile work. The project managers go above and beyond to make sure all questions are addressed. I have never dealt with a contractor who practiced better customer service & communication. 10/10 recommend. I will keep going back to Scherr for all of my construction & handyman needs!
