My wife and I had an overall great experience renting through Scheppke. We recently moved out of our apartment after 4 years and upon receiving our security deposit back; I had a few questions about the charges in question. Both Elle and Amy were very kind and helpful in answering my questions! It's not easy running a reputable rental/reality business but you can tell they are doing their best to be fair and honest. From my experiences, I would recommend them over the competition!
If I could give a zero rating, I would. My roommates and I left the house cleaner than when we first moved in, yet were still shorted nearly $500 in "damages" per person off our security deposit to replace things such as lightbulbs and door knobs that were in perfect working condition. We were also charged an outrageous amount of money for "excess" garbage removal from our publicly accessible garbage unit, that everyone and their mother uses during move out week. Towards the end of lease we seemed to have more and more problems
We wouldn't work with anyone else. John is so giving of his time and energy to help you find a home or sell yours. He's an outstanding human being!
These people are the worse rental company in Eau claire to rent from. They do not give there security deposits back. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!
