As of this writing, the last posted review is 2 years old. So… let me update you on a near million dollar Schell Brothers built home that we built. The model selection and design is a beast of its own where they literally nickel and dime you for everything in a home. Now then, after the build and closing: the house is a Million Dollar Turd!!! I think a true test of a newly built home is how does it stand up to the test of time. We have been in our Schell home for 9 years and you would think it is still a new home. No nail pops or cracks on the walls. All of the HVAC is humming without any maintenance issues. The tile and wood flooring throughout the house has stood up well even with 5 grandkids and 2 dogs doing their best to rough it up when they frequently visit.
