Excellent job providing me with the devices I need
I brought my 4-year-old son, who is blind, to see Dr. Scheiner to determine if he had any functional vision. (His condition is degenerative, and at the time it appeared he did have some vision). She gave him a low vision test, and asked him to identify different shapes and icons. When he couldn’t see them and didn’t answer, she told me he must be “cognitively delayed”.
