I was a right-hand dominant medical writer and pianist. I earned my living as a medical writer and piano is my life's passion. Dr. Schefer treated me on December 13, 2010 to surgically remove a benign tumor from inside my right elbow. In so doing, he accidentally cut the radial nerve so I had palsy of my right dominant hand. This is one of the worst doctors I’ve ever gone to and he ruined my life. I am a pianist and a writer. I came to him with a tumor on my right hand . The MRI showed that it was a neuroma. I was hesitant about removing iit because another surgeon advised against it. He was very arrogant and did not tell me about anything that could go wrong. DR Schefer is incredible,he performed Basal Reconstructon, Ulner nerve release at wrist and elbow, and a Carpal Tunnel procedure, he gave me his personal cell number the night of my procedure when he called to check on me and told to call anytime. He also met me in his office on Sat his day off 1 hour after I called him with concerns about hand, (his office was closed). Highly recommend him.
