I am so impressed with this store. They dont just have a bunch of 18 year olds working there. For example, I went into the ammunition area and the older sales guy had me walking out with over $200 worth of ammo and bullet magazines. He was super knowledgeable and very helpful. When a store hires smart salespeople then customers drop cash and find what they need fast. bravo
I bought boots there today, Rick was awesome! Very knowledgeable and got me a shoe that was perfect for me.

We love going to Scheels. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Great deals as well.
Overall, I truly enjoy Scheels. I like that it is employee owned. They carry good quality brands as well as smaller local brands. There are fun things to do including mini bowling and the ferris wheel. The fudge shop is nice as is the upstairs candy store. The staff seems to always be cheerful, available, and helpful. However, I have a really hard time with the guns and taxidermy. I understand I am in a sporting goods store in Nevada so I am not surprised.
