If you like or want a wise cracking sarcastic eye doctor that is rude and short with you , pick this man . I did everything there , staff was polite and friendly until Blumenfiekd walked in . He was short , condescending and sarcastic. This behavior might work with the poor elderly people he sees but not with a person like myself that wants to be informed about procedures and risk etc. I walked out and will find a better surgeon that respects people so that he or she can do my surgery . Well I waited over an hour for my appointment at 8:30 then didn't get seen till about 9:40. After that I saw the doctor for about 2 minutes and he told me to just squeeze out the oil in my 6 month old eye stye because he couldn't cut it out like he said he woud in the first appointment because it would permanently scar my oil gland. Then I got charged 150$ just for that. Moral of the story is never go to the doctor.
Kind staff and eye doc is thorough and patient. Would definitely recommend!
Worse Dr.. My mom had gone for eye glasses and he recommended eye surgery to polish the lense. That it would help her to see better as she previously had cataract surgery.. no test were taken just a basic eye exam.. after the surgery we go back for a follow up the Dr. And now he says her retina was deatched previously.. and that she needs to see specialist.. y was the surgery performed then if it had deattached?? Was it an insurance scam.. or was this Dr the reason the retina deatched and is blaming others for his actions?? ... read more
Never been a patient for this clinic but every time I take my grandma for her appointment she is treated with kind and respect and she can be a little cranky by going for a doctor visit.
