I understand everyone's busy but not to return phone calls five days before call is returned leave messages. No one calls back fax paperwork over nobody calls to say hey we're ready for you to come in. Keep calling. Nobody returns. The calls finally get a message back saying that the paperwork I submitted wasn't good enough. It's been over a month since I started this process with Hanger and I still don't have Custom orthotics and diabetic shoes They say they're too busy to call back. It's my responsibility.
5 Stars for the clinic staff. 0 Stars for the online Financial Counseling Team. The clinic staff were very nice and helpful so I'm sorry to leave a 1 star review on the location. The financial team ran me in circles to prove to them that my insurance did in fact cover the orthotics I was prescribed. Multiple times they said my insurance would not cover it. We were referred to Hangar for a neck brace for my 100 lb 93 year old mother. This brace was a significant need because of the very large heavy and restrictive equipment that had been initially prescribed for her. We drove a long distance from her rehabilitation facility to Geneva in order to get the soonest possible appointment at a Hangar clinic.
