Went to see Dr Scharf in 2023 for ringing in my ears. He ordered an MRI to see if there was any underlying factors that would be causing this. Although there were none, the MRI showed I have a meningioma (benign tumor) in my brain. I spoke with Dr Scharf about this over the phone. He tried to assure me that the tumor was insignificant in size and not anything to be concerned about. Dr. Scharf is the most caring and compassionate physician. He worked tirelessly to help my husband who presented with advanced head/neck cancer. My husband felt so comfortable with him and appreciated his honesty, thoroughness and sense of humor. He's definitely one of the great ones!
Dr Scharf is absolutely amazing! Very caring and knowledgeable. I've been going to different doctor's for YEARS regarding the issue I've been having with my ear, and every single doctor made me feel like I'm crazy and kept telling me "it's fine. There's nothing there". In a single visit with Dr Scharf, he figured out the issue and I am seeing him in a week to finally have it resolved! I am excited, relieved and grateful beyond words.
Dr. Scharf is professional and explained my condition that 2 other Dr.s were not diagnosing the problem why I have trouble breathing out of my right nostril, as well as how I need to proceed forward.
Dr. Scharf corrected an issue I had with my respiration due to a nostril blockage that I suffered for many years. It went undiagnosed though I sought treatment from specialists in 3 other states and was told that there was nothing wrong with my nose..
