Not great service compared to other Subaru Service Centers in the area. The service advisor I’ve dealt with is not very friendly. Each time I come to pick up my vehicle there’s always confusion and the first question is “who was your technician?”, I’m not sure. Service techs don’t typically introduce themselves, they take your keys, check you in and put a sticker on your car and move on to the next customer. I purchased my new Forrester from Schaller and of course used their service department for regular scheduled maintenance. I have had multiple terrible experiences with the service department. First experience, they screwed up a hitch installation and had to end up replacing the bumper on my brand new vehicle. After purchasing the extended warranty, I was told that I could not get a loaner car for service. First class service.
Unfortunately it must have been a bad day for Jasmin the service assistant at Schaller. We came in for a scheduled appointment and were left outside in the pouring rain, I walked in and waited to speak and asked if the door was automatic since it was our first time servicing here. She rolled her eyes and said the door would open “when it would”. So I just let her be combative and unhelpful and moved on, telling my wife that the doors were supposed to be automatic.
