I would not rent from the new owners of schaefer rentals. If you complain a about things that need to be taken care of around the apartment. they will not really renew your lease, they will leave you homeless and not care if you have a place for your son to stay all. They we'll punish you for not doing their job as a landlord. So I wouldn't complain if you don't want to lose your apartment. I love my landlord Ryan Shafer who took over a few years ago when his mom passed away. These apartments are reasonably priced and some of the buildings in this complex are up to date some could use more updating.
Ryan Shafer aka the landlord took over when his mom passed away in 2021. He is a very good landlord, very easy to get along with. The apartments I live in now are in a old house , it is not well updated but very reasonably priced. The apartments in the complex behind the old house I reside in are a lot nicer and more updated. They are really nice for anyone looking for reasonably priced apartment living. The bad news is my landlord is looking to sell the complex soon ,so we will have a new landlord.
