He then asked for $1800+ worth of work which my husband did over a year ago. Steve has never even paid one dime towards the bill even though I've sent him numerous bills. Beware! This "contractor" refuses to even pay their subcontractors. It's been over a year of mailing, emailing, calling, texting yet he still refuses to pay for services already rendered. He was a friend of a friend that my husband agreed to cut his grass ect. It's really quite shameful. He hasn't even paid one dime towards the year long work. You'd think he'd be embarrassed $1800+ yet here we are. It's come this. How sad.
Owner sent his two boys to propose an apartment development in my nice single-family home neighborhood. Plans look okay, but the delivery was sloppy, misleading and unprofessional. I’ve not paid this company for services, I simply witnessed it’s presenting to a local city planning committee. They don’t seem to by concerned about community impact of the development, likely focused on the money. Steven Schafer (President) purchased our property in South Lyon for a new subdivision going in. We closed on the house last November and that all went well, but part of the written agreement was to reimburse us for the movers up too $2000.00 . They kept asking when we would be out,we told them probably by March 2021. We emailed them the receipt on March 15th and we are still waiting for our check two months later.
