Growing up in an Italian household, we always had some kind of fresh produce with our meals. This morning I called in an order to Scarpacis Produce, paid for it over the phone and headed over there at a designated time this afternoon to pick up the order. Here’s what came home with me... fresh asparagus, green onions, Brussel sprouts and green beans... Cost of this haul: $4.75! My thanks to Dorian Economos and Bobby Plant for reminding me about this gem!
