I am a college student and had a breast reduction. Dr Scarlett came highly recommended by another surgeon. During the initial consult Dr Scarlett spent considerable time with me evaluating my case, and answering all my questions. After the surgery and before leaving the hospital again Dr Scarlett met with me assuring me the procedure went very well. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. Dr Scarlett was a God send. He took his time and explained everything. I had a single mastectomy with tissue expanders. After my treatment we switched them out for implants. They matched perfectly. I am very happy with my results Dr Scarlett is so caring and compassionate. His staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend him.
My issue is not only with the doctor it's also with his staff. Not only did I wait over an hour past my appointment time to be seen those women there were NOT NICE. I was told by the doctor pretty much what I wanted to hear, but when it came down to it all of that was a lie. As far as his staff goes I have never in my life have ever been treated so poorly with so much disrespect in my life.
I was not happy with the results of my surgery and 2 years down the road have had 1 additional procedure and am facing another. I do not feel Dr. Scarlett was up front with me about my surgery and possible aftermath. Because of complications during my surgery, decisions he and the breast surgeon made resulted in problems after radiation (DON'T get implants until after radiation!). I was only able to receive 25 radiation treatments because the radiologist was concerned I would have further issue
