they are scam artist. they told me 3 weeks for my chair. 6 weeks later they are telling me 4 more weeks. I wanted my money back so I can get a chair and I don't want to support incompetence. No way! They make me reward them for screwing around with me. When I spend $3600 I expect them to keep their word. I love their stuff but will never support them again. I have told everyone I know to no longer buy there.
I will never shop at this store again. I ordered a chair and was told it would be delivered in 8-10 weeks. As the delivery date approached, I contacted Scan Design and they told me my chair would be delivered a month later than promised. Store personnel were completely unconcerned--I've never encountered anyone in retail who cares so little about customer satisfaction. Just had a great customer service experience with Scan Design Furniture in Portland, Oregon. My husband's favorite Ekornes recliner broke...not only did Jorgen at Scan Design fix it for us...but he did it while we waited! This is how retail customer support should work.
Scan Design Furniture has excellent mid-century modern pieces and items that update your home.
Customer service is horrible. Really disappointed in misleading info on delivery times and surprising 7-day return policy on accessories for a chair that doesn't arrive for 2 months.
I had a great experience with Scan Design Furniture. It has beautiful designs and nice staff.
