Good, solid food; large portions, reasonable prices. Pretty much all you can ask for in a diner-y type place. A bunch of local union electrician guys were there, clearly regulars, when we got in which says it all!
Best value and taste in the area. Everything that I have ever order at this restaurant was/is always cooked correctly and fresh.
Came here for lunch with coworkers and got The Cubano—stellar! Warm, savory, and just the right amount of mustard & pickles. I was hoping I’d eventually find a place in Boston that made good Cubanos (lots of trial and error), so I’m pleased to have found the right spot. I thought I might have seen the folks there smile when I ordered it, which already made me feel that this was a good pick. I also wanted to mention that Scali is my dad’s go-to spot for sandwiches and he comes here all the time and really enjoys them.
