On July 7, 28, 2025 I won the bid on a 2008 Nissan Maxima, Invoice# 147136 from SCA AUCTIONS LLC. I had a maximum bid of $575 and was charged $1,696 (details below). I put a bid in on a Jeep and I was high bitter and it was pulled from the auction and it was not listed with reserve and it did not have a price on it for buy until the next daythe next day. SCAM alert!!!! I placed a “buy now” payment because the truck was such a good deal. The buy now price said $7600. The website says that I would receive an invoice in 12 hours. I then get an invoice for $14,600!! They said that there was a glitch in their system that showed a lower buy now price. They said that the glitch happened but I must pay the $14,600 plus fees. I thought I could bid on a boat and have a chance to start a project. Every time I made a bid it was immediately out-bid. I did some research and it seems that the back-end software only updates bids once-in-a-while, clearly not acceptable for a bidding process across multiple web sites. For your information, most if not all of their vehicles come from IAAI dot com (where you can find a bigger selection of pictures for your specific vehicle).
